well you can still do a silent install via an RDP session. The only difference is that once you have extracted the install package, rather than running setup.exe by clicking on it you can use a dos command prompt to run the setup.exe using something like setup.exe /s /v"CITRIX=1 /qn"
It MAY solve your problem. I have seen various issues with installing Notes standard client on machines with terminal services on (though funny enough it works fine if you just use RDP on a windows 2003 server without terminal services installed). As I say, I have not quite got to the bottom of this issue yet so welcome other users feedback. All I can say for sure is that in my case the only way of installing it that I found that consitently worked via Terminal services was by running setup.exe from the command line.
We HAVE now got R8.5/R8.5.1 standard client working under Citrix and RDP/terminal services and Notes its self works fine. We do have some issues with symphony but thats another story!
